About me

My name is Ben Windsor, I am located in Denver Colorado with an associates degree in technical theatre and set design. I have a passion for scenic design in immersive theatre, and adjacent. I have been Involved in Fabrication, mold making, and, scenic design at “Kreaturekid!” creature shop as well as been apart of the development of the Mile long “Terror In the Corn Haunted Attractions” at Anderson Farms in Erie CO. I am disciplined in skills such as prop making, set dressing, scenic charge artistry, carpentry, light rigging, sound, and set design.

CCDs “Reefer Madness”

This show I was the Set Designer and Lead Carpenter. My role was ensuring the construction followed the design and fit the image of all design teams .

Interior of the set was reinforced with 4×4s for added stability for a band to play above the set.

The Color scheme of the set was chosen with the idea in mind to have different lights phasing illustrations on and off set.

Terror In the Corns “Courtesan Balcony”

This was a refurbishment project on a pre existing facade. We tore down the top of the facade and reinforced the whole set piece with new wood, and a completely welded frame and balcony. The welding was done by the tech team while I was responsible in helping with tear down and carpentry/ construction

These were a series of scenes throughout the haunt, there were old scenes that had to be torn out and then replaced, reinforced and dressed over the course of months.

Train station Queue line for TITC Anderson Farms

This project occupied most of the build season at Terror in the corn in 2025, I came up with the idea to create an immersive line queue to allow guests to feel more immersed in the story behind terror in the corn while they wait in line due to the high volume. The original queue line was was torn down and redesigned by Bart Butler and we constructed a massive train station with a welded Train with working smoke and horns. in front of the box cars of the train was a constructed stage for regular shows while customers waited and a DJ booth as well.
